In July 5, 2010 the 2nd International Symposium "Space and Global Security of Humanity" was opened in Riga, Latvia.

  The purpose of this symposium is an engagement of scientists and experts to the discussion of actual matters related to the space exploration and the space technologies usage for reason of the global security provision of the humanity.
       The delegation of OAO Makeyev GRTs headed by Vladimir Degtyar, General Designer of OAO Makeyev GRTs takes part in this symposium.
